At It’s A Dog’s World, we offer classes nearly every day of the week, both during the day and during the evening hours. It’s never too early or too late to get started with your dog!
If you’re just getting started and you’re not sure which class is right for you and your dog, check out our CLASS CHOOSER questionnaire, which will guide you through a series of questions to help you narrow down which class to take.

Frequently Asked Questions
What do I need to bring to class?
A hungry dog, on a flat buckle or snap collar, and a regular (no flexi leads!) 4-6 foot leash. Also, poop baggies, and lots of soft chewy training treats. Throw in a notebook and writing utensil, as well as a couple of your dog’s favorite toys. These can all go in a small duffle or tote bag that you can bring to class each week.
What do I need to do before class?
Make sure that your dog is current on all of its vaccinations, and has what we call a ‘negative fecal exam’. This means that your dog’s stool has been checked by a veterinarian and found to be clear of intestinal parasites. This is especially important for puppies, who are prone to picking up intestinal parasites, since they are always sniffing and investigating things on the ground!
How do I pay?
You can call any time at 253-863-2258 to pay over the phone with any type of credit card. You can also mail checks to us at 16024 60th St., Sumner, WA 98390, before class. If you are paying the day of class, please arrive early enough to take care of payment, potty your dog, and be ready to go when class starts.
